  • How to renovate a B&B in contemporary style: the Casa Mini project

Designer

NA.VI.ARCH Architectural firm

“We have known each other forever, yet we never cease to surprise each other: one is head, the other is heart-or perhaps both a little of each. Different, complementary, complicit.

Our studio was born from a bold gesture in an uncertain time – during the lockdown – but with a very clear idea: to transform what we love into a concrete, living, everyday form.
We brought to the table our passions, our skills and that rare bond that has united us for a lifetime.”

NA.VI.ARCH does interior design, residential and commercial renovations and retail.
Each project is a tailor-made narrative: from the choice of materials to the management of space, everything is designed to create harmonious, warm and contemporary environments where aesthetics and functionality dialogue with balance.

HOUSE MINI

Category: Vacation Home
City:
Civitavecchia RM
Realization:
2025
Tonalite product used:
Tonalite Lingotti opaco Foresta e Verdino

What were your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?

The project involved the complete renovation of an old B&B that was divided, transformed and completely renovated: from a single space two new vacation homes ready to welcome are born.
Casa Mini is distinguished by a contemporary style, played on material and color combinations that dialogue with each other: natural wood, shades of green and touches of graphic black create a sophisticated and welcoming balance.
We chose materials that could give character to the space, creating a comfortable and bright environment, but at the same time dynamic and personal.

What made you choose the Tonalite products?

The small bathroom created below the loft is cozy and functional enhanced through the targeted use of color and texture.
Tonalite wall tiles allowed us to play with intense, textural tones while maintaining formal rigor through the elongated rectangular format.

What colours and combinations did you choose, and how did you use them?

We used Lingotti tiles in dual shades-Matt Lingotto Foresta and Verdino-to create a vertical composition that gives the space depth, rhythm and character.
The quality of the material and color variety made Tonalite the ideal choice for a small but identity-rich bathroom.
