When designing a public space, architects and designers need materials that meet both aesthetic and functional requirements. Ceramic tiles offer a versatile solution that combines style, safety, and hygiene, making them ideal for public environments such as shops, offices, restaurants, and various commercial spaces.
A ceramic tile floor is a stable and easy-to-install option, suitable for both indoor and outdoor use. This material provides exceptional durability, especially when installed in compliance with European standards, ensuring the highest technical performance and delivering a stunning visual impact for any design project.
In the Runway project by Cristina Zanni designer and Andrea Govoni the ceramic surface becomes an integral part of the graphic design. The Geomat collection laid with herringbone pattern gives personality to the environment and is based on colours and materials.
“Runway is the story of opposites that attract each other and can no longer separate. The majority of it is characterised by its wonderful geometric floor that borrows texture from the wonderful textile world and its barbed fabrics, as opposed to the walls of my beloved dusty blue,” explains designer Andrea Govoni on his website.
In rooms not too large in size and with different uses, the ceramic material lends itself to enhancing counters, coverings and small corners.
The creation of backdrops and movement spaces orient the customer’s attention thanks to colour contrasts and elements with a refined taste.
And here are other projects that you can find in our dedicated section: Already Gelato, Paolessi or Family Bakery.
