Caleidoscopio architettura was born in 2017 in Rome from the collaboration between architect Alessia Cavalli and architect Francesca Smaldore. We work in the field of interior architecture for residential and commercial properties.
From conception and conception to realization, each project is developed with special attention to quality, attention to detail and color. The kaleidoscope is an optical instrument that, when rotated against the light, shows changing geometric shapes and inspires our architectural research path. The projects are the result of reworking different elements, styles and functions into an appealing, fresh and colorful composition.
Each project stems from knowledge of the property and knowledge of the client’s needs and history, develops through the reworking of requirements and spaces, and materializes in the creation of customized micro-worlds in which all elements are harmoniously composed in light, materials, colors and details.

Kitchen and living room Tonalite Aquarel – decor Antares Verde
Morena Valente
The concept of the project developed from the desire to create visual links between foreground and background elements; in the living area we entrusted the role of correlation to the wall covering. We chose the Antares decoration from the Aquarel series because the small format and delicate decoration in palette with the interiors, allowed us to cover rather large surfaces such as the kitchen backsplash and the backs of the bookcases in the living room, without distorting the perception of the space but rather giving it a cozy and relaxed atmosphere.
We chose the Tonalite collection because we were looking for a small-format, opaque tile with a light, modern yet traditional decoration. We have used the brand’s products over the years and have been satisfied with them in terms of aesthetic performance and quality.
We chose the Antares Verde decor from the Aquarel collection because it allowed us a perfect match with the taupe color of the kitchen and the wood details of the living area. The decor was used as a kitchen backsplash and as a backdrop for two large bookcases in the living area. The light-colored background and the double green tone of the upholstery allowed for a final effect that was light but at the same time characterful.
