Zelda de Ruvo Architetto
I am an architect who trained and graduated from the renowned Faculty of Architecture of the Politecnico di Bari.
The training and work path continued, after graduation, in design studios focused on international competitions for large structures in Rome and then in Brussels.
After returning to Rome, I worked for a year in a large architectural studio in the capital and then embarked on a career as a freelancer, activity which I continue today with projects in Rome, Milan and Bari.

What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?
The new blind bathroom was designed with the use of contrasts (in this case black and white) and lit so as not to be without a window.
The large, custom-designed washbasin unit conceals the washing machine and a small detergent compartment.
The material, in a very small format and with inserts in a contrasting colour, created a pattern from the floor to the wall.
A pattern that rises from the floor to the built-in bath wall and again to the back wall.
The result is an “organic contrast” between a purely classical wall covering and modern elements such as taps, sanitary elements and washbasin unit.
What made you chose the Tonalite products?
The Tonalite products were chosen for their characteristic format to create the right contrast and for their renowned quality.
What colours and combinations did you chose and how did you use them?
The material, Ottagonetta Diamante white matt and tozzetto black matt, has created a pattern that rises from the floor to the built-in tub wall and again to the back wall.
