What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?

The choice of this ceramic cladding stems from the need to make the small store stand out on a busy commercial street, capturing the eyes of passers-by with its combinations of materials and colours. The space is bright, able to communicate the sensations of freshness, cleanliness and genuineness that can be traced back to the imagination of an artisan ice cream shop. The tips of the Tonalite coating are opposed to the holes in the white iron surfaces of the access door to the laboratory, creating an amusing contrast between triangular and circular shapes. The fresh colours of the tiles have been chosen to balance the warmer colour of the copper details.

What made you chose the Tonalite products?

The Dart series was chosen for its particular shape, in fact the laying of this coating allows to obtain a zigzag line that recalls the tip of an ice cream cone.

What colours and combinations did you chose and how did you use them?

The colours chosen are white, the main colour of the space reminiscent of milk, the bone colour that recalls the colour of the pre-existing marble floor and sage, a soft colour that well suggests the idea of freshness and coolness.
