StudioCM is the result of the collaboration of architects Claudia Cancellieri and Alberto Mazza.
It deals with design, from the preliminary to the executive phase, without neglecting any detail even in the choice of interior decoration. The team combines technical knowledge and artistic skills, aiming to satisfy all kinds of needs: aesthetic, functional and economic. Each project aims to match both the natural vocation of the property and the personal taste of its inhabitants.

What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?
The project was designed for a modestly sized property and aimed to expand the space. Designed to make the entrance area large and comfortable, it allows the use of neutral colours to give reflected light where exposure does not allow it.
The aim was to create a contrast in finish and colour with the furnishing element that frames it, the kitchen. The Cementine tiles, placed according to their natural conformation, fit together like an unfinished puzzle, emphasising the vertical sense of the wall.
What made you chose the Tonalite products?
The Tonalite products used recall the stylistic declination of the 1930s and allow a contrast with the modernity of the project, which is extremely simple and essential in its lines. The floral motifs give the wall a sense of creativity and elegance.
What colours and combinations did you chose and how did you use them?
We used hexagonal cement tiles from the Examatt collection in white background colour with floral motifs and in matt grey background colour. They were placed between the base and wall units of a kitchen with a glossy white lacquer finish to highlight the depth, which would otherwise be lost with a total white background. Moreover, white and grey allow the combination of any chromatic element, projecting the possibility of diversifying an apparently static environment.
