An essential and contemporary environment, where the purity of white surfaces dialogues with the bold character of dark details. The space develops in depth, marked by clear lines and rigorous perspectives: on the left a washbasin unit with a top covered in Tonalite foliage black, on the right suspended sanitary ware, lightening the visual composition.
Dominating the language of the upholstery is Tonalite Foliage Black, chosen for its materiality and shine. The black pattern, engraved on a light background, gives the bathroom a discreet and refined sense of rhythm, transforming the functional surface into a prominent decorative element.
The wall covering, laid in the shower stall, wraps around the wall of which captures the soft light from the spotlights embedded in the ceiling, creating plays of reflections.
Tonalite Foliage Nero becomes the focal point of the room: discreet but incisive. A detail that makes simplicity its aesthetic manifesto.

What were your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?
The main objective in the choice of materials was to combine functionality, elegance and an understated graphic sophistication. I wanted to create an essential, contemporary environment in which the purity of white surfaces dialogued with the bold character of dark details, yet maintained a harmonious balance between shapes, colors and textures.
What made you choose the Tonalite products?
I chose Tonalite products for their ability to combine quality craftsmanship, aesthetic research and compositional versatility. In particular, the Foliage Nero wall covering perfectly represented the balance I was looking for: a contemporary element, capable of enhancing surfaces without weighing down the room.
What colours and combinations did you choose, and how did you use them?
For this project I chose an essential and refined palette, played on bright whites and graphic blacks. The goal was to create an environment that is understated but full of character, where color contrasts enhance the clean lines of the forms and the quality of the materials.
The walls and bathroom fixtures are declined in a pure white, which amplifies natural light and reflects artificial light in a soft and diffuse way. On the floor, a black and white hexagonal mosaic evokes a reinterpreted classicism, bringing rhythm and movement to the surface.
The countertop of the washbasin cabinet has been covered in Tonalite foliage black adding an important textural presence as well as the cladding inside the shower in Tonalite Foliage Black, introduces a discreet yet highly distinctive graphic texture. Its decorative pattern breaks up the monochrome without altering the overall balance, creating a focal point that enhances the most intimate and collected area of the space.
The metallic chrome accents of faucets and accessories complete the composition, adding discreet reflections and visual lightness. In short, a minimal but studied palette in contrasts and textures to build an elegant, contemporary and timeless environment.
