What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?

Since we were working on a boutique hotel space, that was quite eccentric and ‘cool’, we wanted to create a space that is not typical of a hotel space or a residential home. So when guests stay away in this hotel they feel comfortable yet intrigued.

What made you chose the Tonalite products?

We loved the shape, the colours and versatility of Trapez tile to create this an unordinary effect.

What colours and combinations did you chose and how did you use them?

We have used the Trapez Collection from Tonalite in one of the guest rooms’ washroom, on the shower accent wall. The backsplash of the other walls was a gray scale and we wanted to bring a cool accent into the space.
By combining 33% or Ottanio, 33% of Gesso and 33% of Ardesia, we were able to create this accent piece in the bathroom, and we get a lot of compliments. These colours really compliment the other gray scale tiles in the rest of the bathroom, along with the darker flooring. We love it.
