My work focuses on the design of the space and covers every type of architecture: from small to large scale, from architectural planning to interior design, lighting design and design itself. Direct contact with the client is as important as an assessment of the site. Developing a shared vision that meets the client’s needs is the basis of the whole design journey. Architecture should become understandable and emotionally recognisable, with a great deal of attention to the semantics of materials, as well to those of building and artisan construction techniques. The aim is always to meet the needs of the client and to combine these with a clear stylistic language that is also functional. At the centre is architectural design, creating spaces by carefully considering what already exists, bespoke design and the creation of construction details.

To find a tone-on-tone covering with interesting geometry.

The trapezium is less often seen than other traditional tile shapes.
The many combinations available also offered a great deal of freedom in choosing how to lay them.
