Our studio was founded in 1974 by Enzo Evaso in Valenza, in the province of Alessandria, Piedmont, where he still continues to practice. In 2005 Luca Guglieri and Elisa Evaso opened the new office in Milan, renewing its philosophy of design approach through technology but maintaining the original rigor and respect for the construction history of each building. Dealing with projects from the initial concept to the final development of interior, furniture and green design, our experience in recent years has focused on the restructuring, reuse and restoration of public and private buildings. Our network of experienced craftsmen and restorers together with the interdisciplinary group of external collaborators allowed us to develop the projects shown here.

What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?

Our approach is linked to the feelings that the use of a material can arouse. The goal is always to convey serenity and comfort in each realization. The herringbone pattern combined with the delicately rippled and shiny surface of Linea 40 gave us exactly the image we wanted.

What made you chose the Tonalite products?

The 6.5×40 proportion of the Linea 40 collection fascinated us with its slenderness and grace, especially when we used it for full-wall wall covering throughout the bathroom. In addition, the shiny and rippled surface gives delicate and unexpected shades.

What colours and combinations did you chose and how did you use them?

Laying on the wall, full height herringbone.
