Rachele Biancalani’s architectural practice (Rachele Biancalani Studio) has been concerned with architectural and interior design since 2010. Rachele and her team work on projects ranging from tailored architectural layout working with the client right from the preparation of the construction file to the design of furnishings and accessories. The studio’s ongoing research and experimentation ensure that it keeps up with the latest new technologies.
What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?
We wanted to give the bathroom a touch of exoticism and mystery, recalling the places in the “Arabian Nights” that inspired these forms.
What made you chose the Tonalite products?
The client and I fell in love with the Arabesque product right away, and allowed ourselves to be seduced without thinking twice. Such an unusual shape cannot go unnoticed!
What colours and combinations did you chose and how did you use them?
We chose glossy black Arabesque for use with contrasting white grouting with a gilded sparkle. The tiles are used on the wall, in vertical strips combined with the beige epoxy resin that covers the rest of the bathroom.
