Lascia la Scia is a partnership of 5 women architects who work together in Milan on the basis of a shared sensibility and design method which is enhanced by each member’s own specific know-how. We believe in the communicative power of design, expressing it in installations, interior design, retail and coordinated image projects, building a project that is on the whole consistent and guided by our creativity and know-how.

We specialise in temporary constructions and installations, made to last for a given amount of time. The goal is to change spaces temporarily, improving, reinterpreting and putting back together places which will preserve the marks of this passage henceforth.

What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?

The project began with the idea of using the historic cement tiles already present in this home in “old Milanese” style and integrating them with new covering materials to meet the clients’ new demands for living. We made two new bathrooms out of one in-line bathroom, preserving the home’s vintage style and playing with colours while maintaining a refined style.

What made you chose the Tonalite products?

We chose Tonalite Antares products because they perfectly combine vintage taste with modernity, and conquered us with their bold but delicate colour palette, perfect for the project in question.

What colours and combinations did you chose and how did you use them?

Tonalite Antares tiles with chromatic textures added a decorative element to the floor in combination with more neutral white diamond-shaped wall tiles and colouring of untiled walls in the same colour.
