What where your objectives when you chose the materials to be used for your floor or wall coverings?
In the idea for the design of the two bathrooms we wanted to include a note of bright colour to avoid the usual all-grey bathroom.
In the kitchen I mention old-fashioned shiny little white tiles and I used its in a modern way.
What made you chose the Tonalite products?
I chose Tonalite because its product range includes bright, shiny colours and inspiring shapes.
What colours and combinations did you choose, and how did you use them?
For the bathroom serving the bedrooms we chose a bottle-green rectangular tile. Its bright, shiny surface laid in an offset brick-like pattern adds a note of colour alongside the grey porcelain wall and floor coverings.
In the bathroom in the living area, we used blue hexagonal tiles: an unusual shape and colour to set off the white of the bathroom fixtures and bathtub, also underlined by the contrast with the very pale grey porcelain.
