The kitchen is increasingly becoming the heart of the home. It is a room that is often open to the living room and can change over time and according to the needs of its occupants.
Bold colors or small details characterize the style and define its use.
A cozy, intimate environment, but at the same time suitable for transformation and hosting. The choice of the kitchen backsplash blends in or stands out from the other areas of the house, giving the room the right character.
Here are three solutions with Tonalite materials.
1. Shapes and colors
The choice of particular shapes for the backsplash allows in a few meters to enhance the space of the kitchen, defining spaces and uses.
In this case the choice of contrasting escape enhances the white hexagons, a beautiful project of the designer Marijana Matic, which you will soon find on the site.
The same choice was made in this project by architect Sabrina Aureli where the game between the trapezoidal shape and the original laying pattern gives a unique character to the kitchen.
Chiara and Andrea of the Studio 23bassi have perfectly interpreted the format and colors of the Exabright collection by Tonalite. In the renovation of Penny’s house the kitchen backsplash takes shape from an explosion of colored hexagonal pixels that thin out from the hob.
Also in the design of Madalina Kurti are used white hexagonal tiles and glossy lime laid randomly along the walls of the kitchen. The wall covering does not close in a straight line but follows a pattern suggested by the hexagonal shape of the tiles. The lime color characterizes many other areas of the apartment such as carpets, chairs and bathroom wall tiles which is made of the same tiles as the kitchen.
